World Disruption Forum 2026

This year and for better or worse, Klaus Schwab was not on stage at the World Economic Forum (WEF) events. He was leading the agenda, invitations, speeches and the marketing from 1971 until he was deposed in 2025, due to Governance failures and abuses of power at the WEF, the so-called “Rebecca” case.
This year, the WEF was presented by Andre Hoffmann (Roche Vice-president), Guy Parmelin - Karin Keller-Sutter (Swizerland Bundesrat), hosted by U.S. Larry Fink (Blackrock) and Donald Trump, as the awarded winner. The first ones were basically (on stage) welcoming participants and perhaps attending private meetings and closing contracts behind closed doors. The latter one had set the agenda, the pace and the topics. Fink is almost shutting down the lights of this event and Mr. Rutte (NATO Secretary) was sending lovely messages to Donald Trump and avoiding a confrotation among NATO partners, specially duing the Greenland closed door negotiations.
The WEF has become a sort of Grammy or Oscar event (without the punch incident, not yet, of Will Smith to Chris Rock), whereby Hollywood people (like Matt Damon, Katy Perry, Beckham), the world media, tech-billionaires and western politicians (incl. Bundeskanzler, Prime Minister and Presidents) are basically showing themselves off with an all-inclusive meet & greet package and logistics organized and paid partially by the Swiss tax payers and the enviroment.
Also important is that the WEF, an organization located in Switzerland has become the World Disruption Forum (WDF) and some European leaders (Macron, Merz, von der Leyen) had attended to.
1. Greenland and (D)onroe Doctrine
Greenland (the Arctic region) was already since 1925 an American ambition and a problem. At that time, Canada, the United States, Russia, Denmark, and Norway had important possession in the Arctic circle.
Denmark's Arctic possession is the Island of Greenland, with its enormous area of over 800,000 square miles (and it is not a small piece of ice as said by Trump during the WEF/WDF). At that time, “The world generally, and the United States in particular, recognize that Greenland is a Danish land. In 1916 our Government formally declared, in connection with the treaty for the cession of the Virgin Islands, that it "will not object to the Danish Government extending their political and economic interests to the whole of Greenland”[1]
During the German occupation of Denmark on April, 1940, Greenland was a colony of Denmark, and as such Denmark was legally free to transfer her sovereignty over it to Germany; or the German Government, acting as a self-appointed defender of a vassal Danish state. The Greenland administration has consistently shown a deficit, and this has been made good by the home government, whereas the trading monopoly, in which the royal family reputedly has an interest, has shown a regular profit.[2]
Today is China and Russia “occupation” in Greenland the new problem, according to the Trump Administration. This is the main public argument why the United States is negotiating to “buy” Greenland (as it similarly did in 1867, when the Alaska was purchased for $7,200,000 from Russia under the Treaty of 1825) and so, continue resuming the Monroe Doctrine within Europe. The Monroe Doctrine is national policy established primarily for the benefit of the United States.
2. Tariffs
The Trump Administration continues imposing and increasing U.S. tariffs to bring Europe and other not-aligned countries to negotiate and make them accept unilateral conditions. This is and will be business as usual for the U.S. Trump Administration.
The Trump Administration will continue using the tariffs "carrots and sticks" approach, because their internal laws (e.g. sections 232, 201, 301, 122, 338) and World Trade Organization law (WTO law) do not prohibit the imposition of tariffs and the United States can increase or impose them, as long as these tariffs are not above the tariffs concessions or binding they had agreed in GATT 1994. Here a hint/question to the EU and Swiss Trade Officials: whether this has been deeply analyzed, checked and/or challenged by Switzerland, Denmark, UK, the European Union and other affected WTO members states, probably not. Currently, no WTO member states (developed country) dares to file a formal WTO complaint against the United States due to these tariffs increases and threats or start a tariff retaliation.
In addition to, the United States is still a founding member of the GATT i.e. World Trade Organization and the major financial contributor to this organization located in neutral Switzerland (Geneva) with 23.3 million CHF in 2024, the highest contributor before China (the second one with 22.7 million CHF).[3]
3. The “Fiend” Club
U.S. Trump Administration and friends, such as neo-capitalist Javier Milei, Viktor Orban and other persons have joined today the so-called Peace Council, created by the U.S Trump Administration, as a international group or pseudo-international organization, apparently with potential overlappings in terms of tasks with the United Nations (Securty Council) and the international public law. Macron, after the leak message to Donald Trump "My friend" said no. Germany (Merz is probably fragile to make a strong statement alone), Spain (out of the office) and Switzerland is still neutral.
